A Healthy Sperm count, which describes sperm with good (higher) motility and better morphology (shape) is desirable in any fertility treatment. A combination of therapies including Western Medicine and supportive TCM (Chinese herbal medicine) and Acupuncture appears to be accepted by many authorities to be of greatest assistance in achieving this goal.(Source: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/26333228/)

Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine applied to an individual to assist with their fertility benefits the individuals' general well being.  The treatment may also be valuable to strengthen the internal organs, such as the kidneys, liver, and spleen, adding to the overall health of the male and their reproductive system.

Clinical experience in supporting male fertility within our practice has been gained and enhanced through combining traditional approaches with Western Laboratory Medicine. Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine supportive treatments have been seen to be effective at improving sperm quality (motility & morphology) after 3 months of Acupuncture and Chinese medicine treatment. This improvement is being screened through appropriate Laboratory Tests (sperm motility screening).

Occasionally it may take longer to achieve this improvement depending on the severity of the individuals general health concerns.
